“Lord, my ancestors put their confidence in you; they trusted you and you saved them.”  (Psalm 22: 4)

Father,

   You were there for my parents answering their prayers, and you have always answered mine.

      So today when faced with uncertainty I will be confident and trust you to be faithful again.

   Be with me in the challenges, protect me from evil, answer my cries.

      Fill me with faith when mine fails and vision to see you when I am blind.

“Lord, you are seated in power on your holy throne, you are the one we praise.”  (Psalm 22: 3)

Lord,

   When my power is not enough, your power is more than enough.

      When I feel overwhelmed, I know you are never overwhelmed.

   Bring your power into my weakness, and your holiness into my fears.

      Give me peace in expecting your power, and praise in seeing it.

“Lord, you gave me your richest blessings and placed a crown of pure gold on my head.” (Psalm 21: 3)

Lord,

   Thank you for giving me with your richest blessings and lifting me up when I’m down.

      Your blessings abound, your honor encourages, your presence empowers.

   Give me your richest blessings even when I don’t ask and your honor which I don’t deserve.

      Your peace in knowing you’re blessing and your confidence in knowing I’m honored.

“Lord, you have given me my heart’s desire and have not withheld anything I’ve requested.” (Psalm 21: 2)

Lord,

   Thank you that you know my deepest desires and have given them all to me.

      And that you hear my deepest requests and have withheld none from me.

   Know my heart, hear my prayers, grant your answers, show your power.

      Help me to desire what you desire and to request what you desire to give.

“The Lord gives victory to his chosen ones.  He answers them from his throne in Heaven with his unconquerable power.” (Psalm 20: 6)

Lord, 

   No matter my prayer you’ve answered, no matter my challenge you’ve given victory.

      My prayers today you are answering and in my challenges you are giving victory.

   Be with me now in my challenges, give me victory through your unsurpassed power.

      Help me calm from worry, expect your answer and rest in your strength.
