“The heavens do not speak or use words, they make no sound; yet, through them, God’s message goes throughout the earth and to all the world.”  (Psalm 19: 3-4)

Lord,

   How clearly you’ve spoken of your power in the silence of the heavens.

      The power that created all things and recreates all things.

   When I’m down remind me to look up, when worried remind to listen to the silence.

      Bring your power into my emptiness, and your silent message into my confusion.

“The heavens display the glory of God, the skies proclaim the work of his hands.”  (Psalm 19: 1)

Lord,

   The heavens show me every day your greatness, the skies declare your power.

      You reveal them to me to give me confidence in your power and rest in your love.

   Remind me everyday to stop in wonder of your creation and gaze at it in awe,

      Fill me with faith in your unlimited power and stillness in your unquenchable love.

“He gives great victories to his king and shows unfailing love to his chosen one.” (Psalm 18: 50)

Father,

   Thank you that no matter the challenges you always give me victory.

      And no matter the difficulties you surround me with your love.

   Give me victory that won’t be defeated.  Give me love that won’t fail.

      Give me eyes of faith to see your victory.  Give me peace of heart to feel your love.

“You guide me down a broad and secure path so that my feet never slip.”  (Psalm 18: 36)

Lord,

   Thank you for guiding me clearly and keeping me on your path securely,

      Though I may trip I won’t fall and though I many wander I won’t be lost.

   Guide me in your path continually, keep me safely in it constantly.

      Remind me to look for your way first and have confidence it’s always best.

“Your salvation is my shield, your hands hold me up, your grace makes me great.”  (Psalm 18: 35)

Father,

   When I’m threatened you shield me, when I’m weak you strengthen me,

      Thank you for salvation that changed me and grace which makes me great.

   Give me your grace I don’t deserve and greatness I can’t achieve,

      Fill me with confidence in your power and peace in your love.

“God fills me with strength and guides me in his perfect path.” (Psalm 18: 32)

God,

   Thank you for filling me with your strength and guiding me with your wisdom,

      You’re with me continually especially when I’m weak and my path is dark.

   Give me your strength to overcome my weakness and your light in my darkness,

      Fill me with confidence so I may see your power and my path more clearly.
