“I know the Lord is continually with me, right beside me, so I will not be shaken.”  (Psalm 16: 8)

Lord,

   Thank you for being with me, continually, day and night,

      Right beside me, constantly, so nothing can shake me.

   Help me feel your presence, fill me with your confidence,

      Walk with me every moment so nothing can ever shake me.

“Lord, you provide for all of my needs and keep me always secure.” (Psalm 16: 5)

Father,

   You have always provided for every need that I have,

      And you will keep me secure in your protection and love forever.

   Fill up my needs with your boundless gifts,

      Fill up my concerns with your unlimited confidence.

Amen

The Lord says, “My people, who are godly, are majestic and noble and I delight in them.” (Psalm 16: 3)

Lord, 

  You have given me majesty and nobility, honor among the greatest.

      And you delight in me and in giving me precious gifts fitting for your child.

   When I doubt my worth remind me of the majesty you’ve created in me,

      When I question, fill be with the confidence of my nobility.

“When the Lord prospers his people again they will be filled with happiness and rejoicing.” (Psalm 14: 7)

You may wander from God but he waits to prosper and fill you with joy again.

Father,

   Sometimes I’ve wandered from you but you have always welcomed me back,

      So instead I will walk with you everyday in your prosperity and happiness.

   Give me confidence in your blessings and expectation of your joy,

      Give me your happiness and gifts so I’m filled with rejoicing.

“The Lord is a fortress of protection for his people.” (Psalm 14: 6)

When you feel threatened know God is still protecting you.

Lord,

   Thank you that you have always protected me even when I didn’t realize it,

      So I choose to rest inside your fortress at peace.

   Surround me with your power, watch over me in your love.

      When I doubt fill me with your confidence and when I worry fill me with your peace.
