You Will Have Good and Perfect Gifts

“Every good and perfect gift comes from above and is given to us from our heavenly Father.” (James 1:17)

Father,

Thank you for all of the good and perfect gifts you’ve given to me.

And I anticipate them today and each day because of your promise, power and love.

Give me your perfect gifts today.  Fill my life with all the good you desire.

Forgive me for too often worrying that today you won’t give them.

Help me to rest in the assurance you have and will continually.

And I praise you in anticipation of your gifts that are always good and perfect.
