God’s Perfect Answer for All of Your Needs

“Perfect help comes from God.  And all his blessings are bestowed on his people.”  (Psalm 3: 8)

 

Whatever your need God’s answer is perfect.  And his blessings which fill up your life.

 

Lord,

   My needs are great and seem overwhelming,

      Yet, I know your power is greater,

      And your promises are perfect.

   Fill up my needs with your perfect help,

      Fill up my life with your perfect blessings,

      And help me to rest expecting both.

“Rise up Lord.  Deliver me my God.  Strike down my enemies so they can’t hurt me.”  (Psalm 3: 7)

 

Your enemies may seem overwhelming, yet God will overwhelm them all.

 

Lord,

  My enemies seem all powerful,

      Yet, I know you are more powerful still.

      And you will defend me against them all.

   Join the battle on my behalf,

      Bring your power into my weakness,

      Help me rest in your power so I may see it clearly.

Protected From Everyone Who Threatens You

You may have those who want to hurt you but God’s power is greater that protects you.

      Yet, I know your power is greater,

      And that power and love protect me.

   When I start to fear remind me of your promises,

      Fill me with your confidence unshakably,

      And let me see your power and love unmistakably.

      At night I can rest in your care and love,

   Tonight, help me to rest in that confidence,

      Give me your refreshing sleep,

      And a bright new day tomorrow, filled with your blessings.

      And to see that power unleashed in my world.

      But to accept it by faith as a gift from you,

      And to live it out in the fullness you promise.

People and problems may threaten you, but God’s all powerful shield always protects you.

 

Lord,

   I feel threatened by problems and people around me,

      Yet, I know in you, your powerful shield surrounds me,

      And though I may be overpowered you never will be.

   Change my focus from the problems and people who threaten,

      To you who protects and blesses,

      And keep me safely surrounded by your never failing shield.

You Have an Unlimited Inheritance

Father,

   Sometimes I fixate on all I wish for instead of all I have,

      Yet, you offer me all good and perfect things,

      An inheritance beyond limits.

   Help me to rest in the confidence of your inheritance,

      Open my eyes with the expectation of your riches,

      Fill my life with the inheritance you delight to give.

You Have a Father Who Always Loves You

Your earthly father may have failed in loving, but your heavenly father loves you perfectly.

 

Father,

  Thank you that when I feel most unloved,

      I feel your love the most,

      And am bathed in your love as my father.

   When I feel unloved help me to look first to your love,

      Rest in assurance of it,

      And feel it filling up my emptiness.
